Casco and Sons makes each roof access ladder with custom heights and widths for your site. We fabricate a typical, 18″ wide ladder with anti-slip 3/4″ diameter re-bar or re-steel rungs. Our OSHA-compliant man-cage for each roof access ladder where needed begins approx. 8′-0″ above the ground, with a 42″ tall guardrail at the top when needed. Platform material and sizing determined from your specifications and field measures.

Typical installation may involve the use of a scissorlift or other equipment, either supplied by our team or your onsite crew. We can also add a safety gate at the top, such as a metal OSHA-compliant self-closing gate, typically in a durable, hi-vis yellow finish.

Material options for each roof metal access ladder include aluminum, painted steel, and galvanized steel depending on the application. Any steel roof access ladder installed in exterior or moisture-laden areas may require a hot-dip galvanized finish or built in aluminum for maximum long-term use. Materials may then be left raw or coated with industrial grey, safety yellow, or other paint or powder coat colors.
